We started our Saturday laying flatrock in the firepit. Travis and his friends Tysen and Ryan had gone to Southern Utah to get the flatrock. This was the plan:

OUCH! After many stitches and a tetnus shot, (and the blessing of still having his arm) Travis learned what happens when the grinder gets away from you! It wasn't a fun lesson, either.Tysen stayed with the kids while we went to get him stitched up, and finished up the rock. Now we just have to put the sand in to keep it all together, and the projects are almost done!

Ugh, that isn't good!! Glad it wasn't worse though. However, the firepit did turn out looking great!
Sorry about the bad cut but the rock work is beautiful we should have a party to celebrate!! A job well done.
Firepit looks great!!! Almost as good as your mom's, but not quite. You just can't beat the work or She'Ra and her side kick!! But seriously, glad the hard part is done and Travis is ok!
Wicked cool cut. Way to get a recordable on the job site! The backyard looks gorgeous. You guys did an amazing job on it, and he will now have the scar to prove it!
