Happy 4th Birthday!
Tysen's 4th birthday was quite an event! He talked about it for days ahead of time, and then the night before when he heard there would be presents, he thought it was Christmas and wanted to get the tree down and decorate it. He stood under the attic opening in the hallway and waited for someone to get it down. I considered for a moment getting him a birthday tree, since he was so adament, but I didn't want to start something I wouldn't want to finish! He took treats to school for his friends, then patiently waited for Dad to come home that night so that we could open presents and have cake. He couldn't make up his mind whether to have a Cars cake or a Star Wars cake, so he had both. I know, you can only get away with that as the youngest child! He got a bike and some Star Wars guys and ships and was a very happy boy! His "Foster Sisters" came for cake as well as Kim and Erin's Dad. He had been inviting them for a week prior and telling them what he wanted. It was alot of fun. Even Eric stopped by with a present for him. Needless to say, he loves birthdays!
The following week we went with his buddy Eric to Thomas and Friends, Live on Stage. They had fun, and got to see all of their favorite trains. He is starting to get out of that "phase", but had fun all the same!
